The Reeds

photo Govert Driessen

The Reeds
is a unique combination of five Dutch top-saxophonists and one of the most swinging rythmsections of Holland. The saxophone section is a dreamteam. They are all involved with the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw and/or the Rotterdam Jazz Orchestra and this is the first time they play together in this combination. They are not only good team players but excellent soloists as well. They were performing with major colleages like George Coleman, Lew Tabackin, Teddy Edwards, Jimmy Halperin, Scott Hamilton and Lee Konitz to name a few.

The Young Sinatras

Nine jazz musicians from the Netherlands are the heart of todays upcoming bigband vibe. They radiate onstage intensity and offstage frivolity. To top it off there is a smashing singer.
